Coaching

Find your true voice, and enjoy using it.
Your voice is who you are. Time to reconnect.

Do you find yourself at work not feeling able to communicate your knowledge? When it’s time to speak up in a meeting, on a call or in front of an audience, the nerves kick in, your voice feels tense, your mind races and you feel disconnected from yourself.

Or are you burnt out? So much of our modern day life is spent communicating from the neck up, on screens, living in our heads, and somewhere along the way we lose touch with ourselves, and with how we connect and communicate with people.

Your voice starts with your breath, not in your head. Stress can affect how we breathe, how we feel and how we express ourselves. When we reconnect with our breath, we sound and feel like ourselves. That’s when we can communicate from an authentic place, and that’s where the magic happens.

Imagine communicating from a place of feeling grounded and centred. A calm mind, a voice that flows, and a supportive voice on your shoulder. You leave the room on a high because you actually enjoyed it.

Or imagine slowing down, breathing again, and remembering how good it feels to be creative and to play.

I've been a freelance artist at the Royal Ballet and Opera for over 25 years.

As a performer, I've had to learn how to stay present and connected when it matters. Through breath, gentle movement, voice and music, we explore ways to reconnect with ourselves, release tension and express who we really are.

How We Can Work Together

One to one coaching: A space to find your voice and enjoy using it when you speak, whether that’s in a meeting, on a call or in front of an audience. Every session is different, depending on you and what you need. In person or online.

Workshops for organisations: For teams who are tired, stretched or disconnected, and for workplaces that want to support their people’s wellbeing. We slow down, breathe, make sound and reconnect, using breath, voice, movement and music. In person, and online by arrangement.

Here’s What’s Inside

Mindset

Changing your inner dialogue.

Movement

Becoming aware of tension, posture and how we move.

Breath

Noticing how we breathe and exploring comfortable, unforced breathing.

Voice

Exploring sound, humming and speaking, and finding the rise and fall and colours in your voice.

Music and Play

Music gets us out of our heads and raises our vibration. You don't have to sing. Everything is an invitation, in whatever way feels comfortable for you.

Get in the Zone

Preparing your mind and voice before you speak.

Your voice is already there.

This is a space to connect with yourself, explore what’s possible, and discover wonderful ways to communicate and connect. I will be there to support you on this journey.

Maria is a kind hearted and enthusiastic coach who has a holistic approach to her clients. I find it really helpful when we do the breathing exercises. After the sessions, I always feel whole and refreshed again.

I'd love to hear from you.

Whether it’s a workshop for your organisation or sessions for yourself, let’s talk about what would help.

Reconnect with yourself before you connect with the world.

      Questions you might have

Absolutely not! There is no pressure to sing. Singing can be uplifting. It influences our breathing and supports feelings of wellbeing and connection with others, and it can help us move our attention away from our busy minds and into the present moment. But everything is an invitation, in whatever way feels comfortable for you.

Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go who we think we are supposed to be and embracing who we are.
